Born to Akua & RahLeeCoh Ishakarah, Jackson, Mississippi native, Rahkua Precious Arvella Verderosa-Ishakarah, began her current artistic journey performing at the age of three. She helped entertain and enlighten myriad audiences with her family's non-profit, artistic/youth/health/education geared organization: T.I.F.H.A.P.
From there, the gifted child of ten found her love for the stage. she began 4th grade as a student at Power Academic Performing Arts Complex (APAC) where she had a concentration in theatre. She was also enrolled in dance, vocal & instrumental, and visual arts classes.
Rahkua's passion for music grew as she joined the prestigious bel conto chorale of Jim Hill High School under the direction of James Hawkins. She was able to travel all over Mississippi as well as Washington D.C. - Puerto Rico - Honolulu, Hawaii - Vancouver, Canada - and others accumulating Superior ratings.
Graduating from Jim Hill with an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a newfound passion for modeling in addition to music & acting, Rahkua journeyed on to New York City to pursue her career aspirations and higher education. She graduated NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama having studied in the Experimental Theatre Wing, Stonestreet Studios, and abroad in Paris, France.
Rahkua has recently moved to Los Angeles, California where she has set her sights on catapulting her career to the next level.
